Welcome to the Lindenwold Fire Department website. "The members of the LFD constantly strive to keep our department among the ranks of the finest fire departments in the State of New Jersey".  We are pleased to provide this website as another tool to offer valuable information to the residents and businesses of the Borough of Lindenwold.  

I have been a proud member of LFD for over 32 years.  I still feel as excited, fortunate and privileged to be here as I did on my very first day…..so long ago.

Here at LFD we take pride in many things that make us “Who we are,” things like:

These words set the tone for the day-to-day activities, actions and objectives that regulate how we aspire to perform.  The Fire Service has a long history of providing assistance to the community.  Each and every day, LFD carries on this tradition in the actions and activities of its firefighters.

During LFD’s proud history, the department has gone through many changes and I anticipate that we will go through many more in the coming years.  Many organizations are fearful of change.  It is because of our history that LFD recognizes that change, while scary, allows our members to become better at how we perform and what we can achieve.   Through this process, we can adapt to the community’s changing needs, while maintaining the high quality service that we are known for. 

LFD is made up of 40 volunteers ready to serve you in a courteous and professional manner.  The men and women of LFD are second to none and unwavering in their commitment to protect the lives and property of our citizens.  We are an All-Risk Fire Department proudly providing services in Fire Prevention, Fire Suppression, Specialized Rescue, Hazardous Materials, Public Education and Disaster Mitigation.  In 2011, the department responded to over 800 service calls.  We are dedicated to providing excellent service and making a difference in the lives of the people living in the Borough of Lindenwold.  There is nothing more important to us than the community we serve.
