The Lindenwold Fire Department is always in need of volunteers. If you are interested in joining please stop by the commission office during business hours for an application. If you can not make it during the day please stop by one of the stations. |

| Winter Reminders & Safety Tips |
|
1. If you did not change the batteries in your smoke
detector and carbon monoxide detector when the clocks
changed please do so ASAP. Even hardwired detectors have
battery back-ups which should be changed. 2. Please ensure that your sidewalks and driveways are clear from snow and ice. 3. Ensure that your house numbers are visible at all times. 4. Have your heater serviced and inspected for proper operation, this will reduce the chances of a problem with Carbon Monoxide. 5. Have you chimney inspected before use. 6. Ensure that you know how to operate your fireplaces or wood burning stoves. Remember to check the position of the flu before lighting a fire. 7. Read the instructions and safety warnings on any space heaters before you use them. |
